Project Management
The City wanted to develop a new facility to replace an existing 12,000 square foot Senior Center and an existing 9,000 square foot Resource Center. Upon completion, the new facility co-located the Senior Center and the Resource Center to provide enhanced services to City residents.
The new center is two-stories and encompasses approximately 24,664 square feet. Abacus served as owner’s representative, which included managing scope, schedule, and budget as well as coordinating with the architect for community outreach and public input efforts.
Services provided:
- Identified all project tasks and develop management plan
- Assisted with development of contracts for A/E and Contractor
- Quality control
- Cost control / CIP Budget Development
- Schedule control
- Risk management
- Meeting coordination and project reporting
